Competing in the Miss America Organization has helped me learn so much about myself, share my social impact, and most importantly getting to know the other amazing, talented, beautiful and successful women who are also competing for the title of Miss Hawai’i. ❤️
I have been able to learn so much about my Spanish heritage running in the Miss Latina Organization! I’ve also been so fortunate to meet and learn about our incredible reigning Miss Hawaii Nikki Holbrook. Thank you Nikki for all your guidance and advice and thank you for being so inspiring. 🥰 I am so excited and honored to be a part of this amazing organization and sisterhood and having gained lifelong friends and family! Mahalo MHO.
Here is my everyday makeup routine! I love doing my makeup and I’m so excited to be filming it for your guys. Please let me know if you want me to do other makeup videos. I like to do fun/crazy looks too, so let me know if you’d like to see those!
Being part of the Miss America has taught me so much about my community, my culture, my initiative and most importantly myself. I have learned valuable skills that I have been able to apply in both my personal and professional life. Not only do I now know how to present myself physically, but also intellectually which is vital in all aspects of life. Regardless of what your background or experience in these types of events is, I recommend every girl to participate in a Miss America event because it’s something that will be with you forever
Unplug so that you can recharge your mind! I’d love to see what good news you guys have or have read about, share it with me by tagging me and using #bekindtoyourmindchallenge
In honor of #MotivationMonday I wanted to share what motivates me! The following are pictures of the people and things that keep me going. My culture, my family, my best friends, my fur babies (Pinto, Bean, and Romeo) and of course my passion for the arts that began with cake decorating ❤️ Aimee’s Cakes and Baked Goods
As promised, I’m going to show you how I stay mentally healthy! We’re going to start a journal!! Today’s a perfect day to start. You can reflect on this past week as it comes to an end, you can reflect on the past month since we’re now in the month of April, and so much more! Today I was able to reflect on this semester for school and softball. Although it’s a tough situation I always keep in mind the bigger picture, the well-being of others. After expressing my feelings about those subjects, I’m able to set new goals, both long term and short term. The possibilities are endless. Make sure to stay tuned for more on journaling and other activities coming this week. Don’t forget to follow In DEPTH too. Happy journaling!!
